Books I’ve read this month
Over this past month, I’ve come to realise it’s not really that big of a deal how many books we read in a month? As long as we’re reading, right? Even struggling through 1 book for the entire month is an achievement, we should stop putting ourselves down for how little we feel we’ve read! I read 3 books this month and I’m fine with that!

The BookBum Club
I am putting The BookBum Club on hiatus. Life is hectic at the moment and I’m struggling to find the time to keep on top of everything. I’ve really enjoyed doing this book club but it’s time for a break! Thanks to everyone who has joined in with the club since I started it, it means a lot!

Book goal update
I thought the month of horror would grab me and I’d be reading loads, but it didn’t turn out that way!
Still behind on my books but I’ve got a few days holiday left to take so I might create myself some long weekends and dedicate my time to reading!

Here are the pics I posted on IG this month!

Music
I haven’t discovered any new music this month, all I’ve been listening to is the My Favourite Murder podcast!

Personal update
October has been a crazy month but not particularly busy! Firstly, Matt & I were this close to putting a deposit down on a house but in the end, we didn’t feel the property was right for us and backed out… which means the struggle of now finding something else that we like but I’m glad we didn’t jump straight into the first property we saw!
Next up, my cousin got engaged which is super exciting and I’m so happy for them both. We went out for a big family meal the weekend after they got engaged to celebrate, and then my uncle and his long-term girlfriend announced that they’d got secretly married!
Matt and I went out on a date night on Friday after we go off work. We went out for an Italian and then to the cinema to watch Bad Times at the El Royale which I’ve been wanting to see for ages! I ended up really enjoying the movie. I thought it was really well shot, the cast was fantastic and it was so intense! I had neck ache from tensing so much.
As it’s Halloween today, I’m going to a horror maze this evening with some of my family. I’m not doing the maze myself, because I’m a big baby, but Matt is and while he’s in there I’m going to have a catch up with my cousin!
That’s a wrap
So that’s it for this month! November is tomorrow which means my birthday is in 4 days and I’m going to Norway!! Next months personal wrap up is going to be far more exciting!
I hope you had a nice October! What were some of your highlights of this month?
Love your Instagram photos and Norway sounds really exciting!
