For the month of September, The BookBum Club theme is: HORRORWEEN
Read a horror book for the month of Halloween!
I’ll be reading:
Well, my whole TBR is horror for October, so I’m not naming one book specifically!
Join the club and tell me what you’ll be reading in October, here!

Book goal update
Oops, well I did say last month that I reckoned I would fall behind my reading goal again very quickly… and here we are!
I’m hoping the joys of horror books will inspire my reading a little bit more this month and I’ll be able to get back on schedule.

Here are the pics I posted on IG this month!

Music
I haven’t discovered any new music this month because I haven’t been listening to music… and that’s all down to the fact I’ve discovered the My Favorite Murder podcast!!
I have literally been listening to it non-stop and while I love it sooooo much, it’s really playing with my nerves and I’m getting super anxious about every strange I encounter on the streets haha!

Personal update
I haven’t done a whole lot again this month. We finally paid for our Norway holiday so money has been kinda tight.
I’ve been bowling twice this month, which is super weird considering I hadn’t been bowling for about a year before then. First time I went with my friends, and the second time with my team at work. Both times I did terribly… I’m blaming that on my refusal to cut my long nails…
I also did go out with a couple of girls from work one night. It was one of those nights where you don’t expect much but it turned into quite a drunken evening!
Also, my best friends bought a house!!! We went to go see them last weekend and had a sleepover there, it was so nice!
That’s a wrap
So that’s it for this month! A pretty terrible reading month and not particularly exciting personally either!
I hope you had a nice September! What were some of your highlights of this month?
Your Instagram photos are beautiful honey! I hope you have an amazing October 💕💕

I’m jealous of your Norway holiday! I’d love to go there one day.
I read Of Mice and Men for school but I really liked it, and it has stayed with me quite strongly since. I really should read more by Steinbeck!
Hope you have a great month in October 🙂

I read way below my usual amount of books this month, must be something in the air, or something in the pages! 😂 I can’t believe I’ve fallen out of touch with the bookbum club but I’m definitely in for October!
And Norway, I can’t wait to go there, and by go there – I mean live through you! You’ll be in one of the hometowns of Nordic Nojr!!!!!!!

It must be something to do with September definitely then!! The perfect scapegoat lol
Hahaha I’m definitely going to have to make a Nordic Noir book purchase while I’m out there… if I can find any English language books 😛

Amazing wrap up. I love Of Mice and Men. I first read it for English class when I was 15. 😊 However, I did cry a little at the ending.
I hope you enjoy The Shining. It’s one of my favourite Stephen King books. 😊

It happens, not every month is a great reading month. It looks like you got some excellent books to add to your TBR though.

Sometimes we need slow months, right? This coming month seems right up your alley for reading, though. Hope it’s a great one!

We really do and it does seem like it will be a good month for me (though I’ve only read 1 book this month so far, hmm) 😀
