Hello again bookish friends! I’m here again with my favourite reviews of the week.
I don’t like double posting on my blog, so if I have a Friday Finds post, I’m going to be posting this on Saturday, but usually, I’ll post this on Friday as normal… in case any of you cared!
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy the post and find a few reviews you missed from your feed this week!
The inspiration for this blog meme comes from Novels and Nonfiction’s “Links I Loved This Week” posts.
1st June
Black Lit Queen reviewed Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn – this is a really well set up review, it makes it very easy to read! A very descriptive and balanced review.
Tack Fiction reviewed The Ocean at the End of Lane by Neil Gaiman – this is a stunning review for an absolutely magical sounding novella
The Paperback Piano reviewed Ill Will by Michael Stewart – I haven’t seen many reviews for this novel, but I know everyone is loving retellings at the moment (of which this one sort of is). Alex gives a great honest review of her thoughts
Julie Davide reviewed If I Die by Alison Gaylin – this is a really interesting review for this thriller which blends genres!
The Book Raven reviewed S. T. A. G. S. by M. A. Bennett – this is the YA thriller of the season at the moment! Tiana’s review is really nicely set-up and very informative!
GNTxReads reviewed The Witchfinder’s Sister by Beth Underdown – yay, Gaby enjoyed this book! I’d hyped it up for her enough, over on Instagram, so it’s nice to see a positive review for it!
2nd June
Books and Brews reviewed Our Little Secret by Roz Nay – I’ve added this one to my TBR, but since reading this review, I don’t think it would be a good match for me. I love super helpful reviews like this!!
A Haven For Book Lovers reviewed Bring Me Back by B. A. Paris – a very interesting review for Paris’ new novel
Spotlight on Stories reviewed Confessions by Kanae Minato – a really interesting review for a book I’m looking forward to reading myself one day!

The Belgian Reviewer reviewed Guess Who by Chris McGeorge – a really entertaining read. Makes the books sound very interesting!

4th June
Jo’s Book Blog reviewed The Story Keeper by Anna Mazzola – this beautiful review has just introduced me to a new historical fiction novel add to my TBR! Yay!
Books, Vertigo and Tea reviewed The Memory of Fire by Callie Bates – a fantastically eloqunet review for a book with a superb cover!
A Word is Power reviewed You Think It, I’ll Say It by Curtis Sittenfeld – very useful, informative review for a super popular book at the moment!
The Misstery reviewed The Outsider by Stephen King – I’ve seen a ton of people talk about this books but not any reviews of it, until now! I’m glad Annie ended up enjoying this one even if it’s not King’s strongest book
GNTxReads reviewed Wonder by R. J. Palacio – another review from Gaby! I love seeing people’s reviews for my BookBum Book Club, especially when they like the book. This is a really detailed, informative review!
What’s Nonfiction reviewed Orca by Jason Colby – these reviews are always so detailed and helpful! A stunning insight into the book
5th June
Little Booky Nook reviewed Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik – I’ve not heard of this book before (probably as it’s not in my usual genres) but I still like reading reviews for random books. This is a really great review! Well tagged spoilers too
Read, Rant, Rock and Roll reviewed A Bad Beginning by Lemony Snicket – I was going to reread this series this year but I totally forgot I’d set myself that goal until seeing this post! Great review!
Lucinda is Reading reviewed Girl with Dove by Sally Bayley – oo I love a good negative review like this! So entertaining to read!
The Opinionated Reader reviewed Picnic at Hanging Rock by Joan Lindsay – fantastic review (and read as part of the BookBum Club! Woohoo!)
Mrs B Book Reviews reviewed The Disappearance of Sloane Sullivan by Gia Cribbs – another really detailed, helpful review for anyone thinking of reading this book!
