Hello again bookish friends! I’m here again with my favourite reviews of the week.
I’ll be honest and say I completely forgot to collect reviews for this post this week, so there’s every chance I’ve missed some stellar reviews over the week, however, I’ve tried my best to pick out at least a few great reviews for you to look through!
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy the post and find a few reviews you missed from your feed this week!
The inspiration for this blog meme comes from Novels and Nonfiction’s “Links I Loved This Week” posts.
25th May
The Girl with All the Books reviewed The Malinovsky Papers by Hannah Jones – really enthusiastic review! Any historical reading lovers out there should definitely pick up this book but the sounds of things!
The Misstery reviewed A Breath After Drowning by Alice Blanchard – a quick and honest review from Annie!
Inside My Library Mind reviewed Us Against You by Fredrik Backman – super detailed but easy to dissect and read review
Pace, Amore, Libri reviewed A Boy in Winter by Rachel Seiffert – Rachel never fails to entertain with her reviews, this is beautifully written and very honest!
The Orangutan Librarian reviewed The Truth About Ordinary Men by Christopher R. Browning – an incredibly eye-opening review!
26th May
The Limit of Books Does Not Exist reviewed The Hiltons: A Family Dynasty by J. Randy Taraborrelli – an interesting sounding book for anyone who likes biographies!
Book-Open reviewed Eloquent Rage by Brittney Cooper – this sounds like an excellent book for any feminists out there who want to read important books about race!
27th May
The Bookworm Fantasy reviewed Thirteen by Steve Cavanagh – I’ve been itching to read this novel, the serial killer sounds like the exact kind of narcissistic male character I love. Even though I don’t really gel with legal thrillers, Mel said this is well worth giving a try anyway
Keeper of Pages reviewed Needful Things by Stephen King – even though King is a hugely talked about author, this is one of his more unnoticed books but Janel’s review definitely makes me want to give it a shot!
Kristen Kraves Books reviewed a couple of sci-fi novels – I love people loving Dark Matter, it was such an incredible read for me and it’s so nice seeing others enjoy it just as much as I did!
Book Wyrm Reads reviewed The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank – this is a lovely review for a book I’m sure is really difficult to talk about
28th May
Stephanies Novel Fiction reviewed The Death of Mrs Westaway by Ruth Ware – I’m seeing such great reviews for this that even though I hated In a Dark, Dark Wood, I feel like I should give Ware’s writing another go
Book of Secrets reviewed several novels in mini-review style – I love mini-reviews! Especially when I’ve read one of the books and felt the same way about it (A Stranger in the House in this case)
I Haves Thoughts on Books reviewed Florida by Lauren Groff– lovely, super positive review for this short story collection
The Paperback Piano reviewed Guilt by Amanda Robson – another fantastic well-rounded review from Alex!
Book-Open reviewed Not That Bad: Dispatches from Rape Culture edited by Roxane Gay – for anyone looking for an eye-opening and difficult nonfiction read, Gay’s work definitely seems the place to go
The Opinionated Reader reviewed The 7 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle – such an excitable review for this novel that everyone is raving about!
29th May
Jen Meds Book Reviews reviewed Ultima by L. S. Hilton – interested in reading the L. S. Hilton books but worried the sex will be too much for you? Read Jen’s review!
I’ve Read This reviewed Liminal by Jordan Tannahill – a fantastically detailed review! I’m sure this will be a new book introduction to many of you
The Book Thief Without Words reviewed Like Never and Always by Ann Aguirre – this book sounds like a fun, easy thriller read. The perfect book to pick if you’re in a reading slump
30th May
Everywhere and Nowhere reviewed Never Go There by Rebecca Tinnelly – this is a very well balanced review which highlights both the good and bad of the book
One Readers Thoughts reviewed Whistle in the Dark by Emma Healey – it’s not always easy writing a not-so-glowing review for an author you’ve previously loved, but Emma has done it really well here
What’s Nonfiction reviewed Little Shoes by Pamela Everett – confession: I add the links to What’s Nonfiction’s true crime reviews before I even read them because they’re always so good! This one is, of course, no exception
Zoey Muses About Books reviewed Reservoir 13 by Jon McGregor – an eloquently written review!
Owl Be Sat Reading reviewed The Puppet Show by M. W. Craven – Lisa’s reviews are always so fun!! She’s the ultimate book pusher… but in a good way!
31st May
I Loved Reading This reviewed The Fourth Monkey by J. D. Barker – still haven’t read The Fourth Monkey? Well read Kerrie’s review and you’ll be wanting to pick it up in no time!
Cover to Cover reviewed F*** You Very Much by Danny Wallace – the more I read this book, the more I want to pick it up or gift it to my mum! It sounds like a fab, funny, but also an interesting read
So there we have it! Those are my favourite review posts from this week. Thanks to all the bloggers featured for the fantastic content this week!
And onto the next week… I’m looking forward to reading some new reviews!
Thanks so much for including my review – I hope you enjoy Thirteen!

Very interesting review for Reservoir 13- I had a very different experience with the book to Zoey 😀 but, it’s very-very interesting to read someone’s thoughts from a different angle!
