Back in JUNE I was tagged in the Bookish Show and Tell tag by the lovely JessicaMarie493, and of course me being me, I’m only just getting around to doing it! (I have even older tags still to complete!)

Authors That Need More Spotlight
I haven’t read many books by the same author, and I read a lot of debut authors, so my answer is more like “books that need more spotlight”… but maybe Beth Underdown’s The Witchfinder’s Sister if you’re looking for a great historical fiction, or Emmanuel Carrere’s The Adversary for a good mind boggling non-fiction!

Favorite Autographed Book
I don’t have any! I don’t go to signings as I never have time.

What I Was Reading In High School
I can’t really remember! Not in the younger years anyway, but in my later years, I remember reading things like Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair by Joel Dicker. Always been mystery lover me!

Books I Haven’t Read Yet
Erm, just about 3 million!? I guess more shockingly, books like The Shining, The Lovely Bones, Nineteen Eighty-Four, Room or The Handmaid’s Tale!
So there we have it, that’s the Bookish Show and Tell tag!
I’m not going to tag anyone in this today as I have so many other tags to get through, I’m going to end up tagging people multiple times and annoying everyone.
But, I would love to know what authors you think need more spotlight, as I love discovering new books to read!
I haven’t read the you’ve chosen either but I do have the audiobook of The Witchfinder’s Sister to read soon. 🙂

Ugh, I need to read 1984 and The Handmaid’s Tale, too. I’ve been procrastinating them way too long.

The Handmaid’s Tale is such a short book but it took me around 6 months to read. It was good, but hard work.
Fab tag 🙂

Yeah, that’s sort of why I haven’t picked it up yet – worried it will take me ages to get through it because it’s hard going
