Yep. I only managed to read 6 books this month, but it’s better than last month!
3 stars
The Mentor by Lee Matthew Goldberg
The Doll House by Phoebe Morgan
Unravelling Oliver by Liz Nugent
4 stars
The Marsh King’s Daughter by Karen Dionne
5 stars
Best Day Ever by Kaira Rouda
The Visitors by Catherine Burns
I had a hard time choosing which book I preferred this month but I’ve gone with The Visitors because I just really super loved this book. I’m aware that loads of people haven’t enjoyed this book because the synopsis is misleading and maybe they think it’s a bit boring and that’s fair enough! But, for me, even though this book wasn’t the one I was expecting it to be, it was still exactly what I needed from a book at that moment in time, so I loved it.

I am one book behind… I’M BEHIND!!
I have never, ever been “behind” in my books on GR before so this is a big, horrifying moment for me.
I did quite a lot this month! Hence why my reading has gone on the backburner a little bit.
Firstly, I went on a week long holiday to the sunny island of Malta, with Matt. We had the most chilled out week of our lives, sitting around doing nothing the entire time but read and drink cocktails. This was our first all-inclusive holiday so we really just lounged around like kings. Here are some pics! (excuse the quality, idky WordPress makes them look so terrible!)
Next up, I went on another holiday, to Budapest. This holiday was one that I went on with my best buddies and Matt. We have officially coined the name “TRVLGNG” as our group name for when we travel, and we’ve already booked our next weekend break away, to Berlin in March. Budapest is a really fantastically beautiful city! Here are some pics! (again, sorry for the quality!)
That’s all for this month ladies & gents! I hope you’ve all had a lovely September, here’s to an even better October!
I only managed 6 as well, but I didn’t go anywhere sunny on holiday! lol

I only managed 6 because I went on holiday! Otherwise it probably would have been 3 or 4 books lol

Those both look like lovely places to visit! I want to travel Europe at some point, so it’s nice to see good examples of places to go (it’s a long plane flight from the US, though).

Budapest is a really terrific city to visit, but yes, a long flight for you guys!

Still, some day I want to see more of the world. I’ve seen a reasonable chunk of the US (though there will always be more to see here, too), but I haven’t seen enough outside of my country.
I often think that if more people did more travel, the world would be a better place. It’s a lot harder to hate a group of people once you’ve met them.
