Today I’m bringing you a very long Unique Blogger award post! I have been tagged in this award post by 4 different bloggers over the past months and I’m finally getting round to doing them (*cough cough sine June cough cough*)! Sorry it’s taken so long, but here I am… I’m not ignoring you!
What’s the funniest book you’ve ever read or movie/tv show you’ve ever watched? Or both?
I don’t really read funny books, so this is a difficult question for me. I think Jon Ronson’s writing is quite funny so maybe one of his books. As for TV and film, there are just too many! Black Books, Dodgeball, Dumb & Dumber, Anchorman etc, etc.
What is something that you’ve always dreamed of doing but never have?
I would really love to write a book, as so many book bloggers would, but I don’t really have the imagination for it! I would also love to give blood but I’m so freaked out by the thought process of the needle going into my skin (not the actual needle itself) that I can’t bring myself to do it! I think I would vom.
What author, living or dead, would you like to spend an entire day with? Why?
I would like to meet someone like Stephen King, he seems like such a witty person but also extremely intelligent! I bet we could have great Trump conversations lol.
If you could cross two of your favourite books/settings/series, which two would that be?
This is such a tricky question! Imagine crossing American Psycho with Dark Matter… or To Kill a Mockingbird though!
Which book or series would you like to have a prequel of?
I would like to find out more about Jack’s history from Behind Closed Doors! It would be good to get a prequel / sequel to that novel so we can get into his head a bit more.
Which two authors would you love to see collaborate on a book together?
I’m not one of these people who falls head over heels for authors, so I don’t really know who I would want to see collaborate, sorry!
If you were to write a non-fiction book, what would be your subject of choice?
True crime! I’d like to research an obscure cult and write a book about that. I love all things cults.
Name a book that you extremely disliked this year, or last?
The People at Number 9 was a ball-ache to read! Such an incredibly boring book.
Which author would you enjoy meeting the most? Doesn’t have to be living.
Answered above!
What is your favourite Disney film and character (they don’t have to be from the same thing)? Why?
YOU. CAN. NOT. MAKE. ME. CHOOSE. I love Mulan, The Emperor’s New Groove, Treasure Planet, Alice in Wonderland, Howl’s Moving Castle, Robin Hood, Monsters, Inc., Aladdin, A Bug’s Life – the list goes on (and on, and on, and on). I literally can’t pick one.
How do you handle with your TBR list when it gets out of control?
I don’t! My TBR is and will always be out of control. I just ignore it!
What is your favourite type of post to blog about?
I doing random posts, like book cover comparisons or list posts about a certain topic. But, I do really like writing reviews too!
Thank you so much to Stephanie, Marija, Mischenko, and Jenna for tagging me in this blogger award! It’s really lovely of you and there were great questions from you all.
Tagging: Bionic Book Worm, Bridget & Books, Misty’s Book Space
My 3 questions:
1. Do you believe in ghosts, and have you ever seen one?
2. Are you an avid traveller? Which places have you been to?
3. If you could swap lives with someone (not bookish related) for a day who would it be?
I love your answer to the prequel question! I would also love to know Jack’s history from Behind Closed Doors. I never thought of that. Great idea!

Thank you so much for the tag/nomination!
I’ll definitely be throwing in “ball-ache” into conversations because I’ve never heard that before and that is straight up hilarious! xD

I can’t choose one favorite Disney movie or character, either. 🙂
And about the blood donation — if you really want to do it, maybe you can get someone to go with you for moral support? (That’s what I did. I’m 40-years-old, and I still needed my dad to hold my hand for it the first time.)

I could always take my boyfriend with me I guess. The problem is, when I start thinking about the process of the needle going in and it’s making a small hole on my skin and finding it’s way into my vein etc I get really woozy (I’m feeling dizzy after typing that!) so maybe if Matt was there he could talk and distract me!

Yup, I find it works best when I don’t think about it! 🙂

Ha-ha! “You can not make me choose”! I had a big burst of laughter reading that one. Thanks for doing the post! All the bloggers gave you such good questions!! I’m the same as you with my TBR. Some people go through and clean and it’s so nice…mine’s utter chaos! I’m trying to get better now though 🙂 Awesome answers!

Thanks Jenna. I wish I could keep my TBR under control but it’s never going to happen. I’m too sporadic with my book buying lol

Me too…I’ve only gotten better recently and that’s because I haven’t visited a bookstore in a while…deliberately ha-ha! I’m trying to read at least SOME of the books I have before buying more…challenge accepted!

I love stuff like this.
I love true crime, I spend a silly amount of time watching documentaries when I’m not reading.
