Sunday Summary | 30th – 7th

Read this week

I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump this week, I’ve had no urge to read anything at all, and that’s probably partly due to the fact I’ve been sick with tonsillitis for most of the week…

I did manage to finish The Perfect Stranger by Megan Miranda, though. My review went up earlier today if you want to see my thoughts on it!

For my meme this week, we read Ecdysis by Juilianna Baggott which kind of sucked. It was just too airy fairy and so was a little bit confusing.

Currently reading

Yep, I’m still reading The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat, even though it’s not even 300 pages. Like I said, I’m in a slump.

I’ve also started The Wolfe Experiment by RW Adams. This was a book I received from the author and so far, I’m half way through and quite enjoying it, although I’m not sure I would have picked it up if it hadn’t been offered to me!

Books bought or received this week

I received The Binding Song in the mail from Hodder & Stoughton / Mulholland Books this week, it sounds really good!

The other three were pre-orders I’ve been waiting on for ages! I can’t wait to read them all… although I re-gifted Into the Water and will re-purchase it at another point.

New book tag!

Me and the lovely Mandy (from Book Princess Reviews) created a new Princess Book Tag this week! It was so much fun creating a tag with someone else this time around because it was great getting a different perspective on some things and having new ideas being thrown around!

It’s only been up since Friday, but we’ve already had a few lovely people do it! Here they are:

Thanks to you all for doing this already, and a big thanks to everyone else who is planning on doing it soon!

Other blog posts

These are some of the other posts I’ve posted this week:

I was a little M.I.A on IG this week, but I did post these two pics!

That’s all for this week ladies and gents! I hope you’ve all had a great week, here’s to the next!

  1. I’m sorry that you’ve been sick this week, I hope you feel better very soon. I’m intrigued to see what you think of the Oliver Sacks book – I have that on my TBR and really want to read it soon. I hope you enjoy the books you got this week – I loved See What I Have Done, it’s so well written. Happy reading 🙂

    1. Thanks Hayley! I’m feeling so much better now 😊 I’m liking it at the moment but it’s very heavily sciencey, a little bit brain frazzling at times!!
I can’t wait to read See What I Have Done, I’ve been looking forward to it for ages now. I’ve seen really conflicting views on it, glad to hear you liked it! 😋
