Hello! Today we’re meeting the lovely Susan, the blogger behind Susan Loves Books.
I’ve been following Susan since the beginning of this blog, so it’s been so lovely to get to know her better! You can also find her on Goodreads, here!
Without further ado, let’s get to know Susan!
Questions & answers:
When did you start your book blog and why?
I love books and love connecting with others who have that same addiction. I was blogging on a friends blog for five months… the only one posting reviews all that
time and one day I just had enough. I decided, if I’m going to be posting so many reviews, I might as well start my own blog, and that is what I did!
How do you motivate yourself to keep the blog up and running?
I love the interaction I get from people when I post. On days when I don’t post, it’s too quiet! So I try and post everyday. I’m a huge talker and need to connect with others everyday, even if it’s just on the computer!
What is your current read, your last read and the book you’ll read next? (answered on Apr 14)
Current – Carolina Dream by Regina Rudd Merrick
Last – The Promise Girls by Marie Bostwick
Next – By Your Side by Kasie West
You post several meme blog posts, which one is your favourite to do each week?
I love doing the Standalone Sunday posts the best. It’s where you spotlight a book that’s not part of a series.
If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, what would it be?
OMG I could never read just one book over and over. I’m not one to re-read anyway! Lol!
If you could meet one author, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
I would love to sit down with Stephen King… it would be one crazy conversation, don’t you think?
Is there a particular movie or TV series that you preferred over the book version?
I loved the Twilight movies because of all of the special effects but didn’t care that much for the books. They were good, but I loved the movies more.
Who is one book character you would love to be friends with?
I would love to be friends with Stephanie Plum from Janet Evanovich’s series. I really relate to her. She is funny and goofy and I am too and I think we could crack each other up all day long!
What book did everyone like and you hated?
The Girl on the Train… everyone loved it and I found myself bored to death!
What are some of your favourite book covers? Can you narrow it down to 5?
I am a cover lover and there is no way I could just pick five!
Thank you so much to Susan for collaborating on this post with me! It was a lot of fun and great to get to know a bit more about you!
