Thank you so much to Alicia @ Miss Alicia’s Blog for tagging me in this blogger award post! Alicia isn’t a book blogger, but a beauty blogger and I follow her blog really closely. She’s a lot of fun and her posts are always informative and funny! Go check it out if you’re into beauty stuff ❤
Rules:
- Thank the blogger who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
- Give a brief story of how your blog started.
- Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers.
- Select 10 other bloggers you want to give this award to.
- Comment on each blog and let them know you have nominated them and provide the link to the post you created.
Story of how my blog started:
I’ve talked about this a few times on my blog now, so I don’t want to keep repeating myself! You can find the answer to this question here and here.
Advice:
Since I didn’t answer the previous question fully, I’m going to do three pieces of advice.
Try to post regularly. Not everyone can post daily, I get that, but I’d try to aim to get at least 3 or 4 posts up a week. Why? Because regular posters are more likely to be interactive and you’re more likely to remember them! If a blogger disappears for a week or longer they get pushed to the back of my mind and I’m less likely to interact with them when they post again.
Respond to comments. A like is all well and good, but a nice response, or even just a “thank you” is good! It shows you care about your followers and enjoy what they have to say.
Don’t be afraid to start debates and discussions. You should be totally you on your blog so don’t shy away from unpopular opinions! Example, my “about me page” clearly states I don’t like YA and I find erotica fiction trashy, and that built me a friendship with Annie @ The Misstery! You can make friends from your unpopular opinions, don’t hold back.
Tags tags tags:
Lois @ Lois Reads Books (of course!) // The Book Cover Girls (they’re also doing a giveaway, so check that out!) // Nicki @ The Secret Library // Sophie @ Blame Chocolate // Too Much of a Book Nerd // Little Booky Nook
I’m sure most of you have already done this award so no harm done if you don’t want to do it again ❤
Thanks for the tag! I probably won’t get around to doing this until month after I’ve finished the A-Z Blogging Challenge 🙂

That’s fine! I always forget who I’ve tagged over and over again so I bombard lots of people! No pressure to do tags at any point 😋

Congratulations, Zuky! Thank you once again for nominating me 🙂
I’ve already done this one too but, again, I might do it again sometime in the future. Thank you for thinking of me, nonetheless!
Great pieces of advice. I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough!
