Sunday Summary | 2nd – 9th April

The People at Number 9 by Felicity Everett – I’ve seen this has not been getting the best reviews, but I love a story about creepy neighbours, so we’ll see how this goes!

Based on a True Story by Delphine de Vigan – this was a disappointing read for me. I was expecting something twisty & turny, but I didn’t get it.

The Last Sin by K. L. Murphy – I received and read this as part of a book blog tour. As a police procedural, it’s not the kind of book I often go for, but I really enjoyed this one!

I’d like to get two of these read in the next week, 3 if I really push myself! I’m not quite in a slump at the moment, but I am finding myself really easily distracted from my books.

I love the cover of this and when I noticed it was only 99p on the Kindle, I had to get it!

I also bought these two BEAUTIES! I couldn’t resist picking up Tess of the D’Urbervilles and The Turn of the Screw when I saw these cover versions. Buy 1 get 1 half price at WHSmith so I got them both for just £11!

(Do you like my Clues & Reviews photo rip-offs? Hehe)

I received The Mayfly, Savage Rising and The Wardrobe Mistress on Netgalley this week!

This post from Inside My Library Mind (and not just because I was the one who tagged her in the post! This is the Dream Books Covers tag created my Tiana, which I posted this week (here). She put some really great covers in her post, so go check it out!

This post from Misty @ Misty’s Book Space. I love it when people participate with my meme and Misty has been there along for the ride the whole way through so far. Much love!

This post from Ficitonophile. This was all about the weirdness and complexity of the English language!

This post from Ryann @ Ryann the Reader (again, not just because I tagged her!) It’s great to learn more about the bloggers you love!

    1. I started it this morning (even though ?I said I started it yesterday) and am already 18% through it, so it’s a quick & easy read so far. A bit ominous but not a lot has happened yet 😛
Also, my Netgalley picks post has more info about The Mayfly 🙂

  1. I’ve just finished reading Sweet Pea and it was brilliant, I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I LOVE the cover on your new copy of Tess of the D’Urbervilles – it’s one of my favourite books and I already have multiple copies of it but I may have to seek out this edition too. Happy reading! 🙂
