My Life in Books Tag

Birdie left her tagging open for this tag post and it looked like a load of fun, so I decided to take the opportunity to do it myself!

A book for each initial:

I’ve my first and surname for this one!

Age – count along your bookshelf

I’m not at home right now, so I’ve counted 20 along my Kindle book shelf!

Girl on a Train by A. J. Waines – not to be mistaken for The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins! (This one was published first btw!)

Book that represents a destination you would love to travel to

The Quiet American by Graham Greene – set in Vietnam! A place I would really love to visit one day!

A book that’s your favourite colour

Pink! This Kindle cover for Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov is not only my favourite colour, it’s also my favourite shade of said colour.

Most difficulty reading

The Demon by Hubert Selby Jr – this took me an age to get through! I enjoyed it in the end but it’s a very heavy read.

Which book in your TBR pile will you get the biggest sense of accomplishment from?

shining

The Shining by Stephen King – I’ve already given this book a go but I wasn’t feeling it at the time. I still really want to read it though!

So that’s what my life in books looks like! I’m going to say the same thing as Birdie and leave this tag open to anyone who wants to do it!
