Thank you so much to Balie @ Nerd in New York for tagging me in this post! I’ve not seen this tag post before so I’m excited to have been chosen to do it. Go check out Balie’s excellent book blog!
I’m being really lazy, again, and not saving all the pics and adding them to this post, I’m just going to write them out! Sorry not sorry!
What was the last book you marked as read?
Siren by Annemarie Neary was the last book I marked as read on Goodreads! It was a pretty good book and was a change from the emotion driven, drama stories I’ve been reading more recently.
What are you currently reading?
I”m currently reading The Witchfinder’s Sister by Beth Underdown, thanks to Netgalley! It’s being released early March. (Can we all appreciate this gorgeous cover?!)
What was the last book you marked as “to read”?
Savage Rising by C. Hoyt Caldwell was the last book I marked as “to-read” on my Goodreads account. This is the second novel in the Backwoods Justice series.
Do you use the star system?
Yes! I find it really annoying when people don’t use a rating system! I don’t care what you use to rate stuff with, but please, at least rate it. It’s all well and good writing out a long review, but I feel like without knowing what they rated it, it’s hard to gauge how they feel about it.
Are you doing the 2017 reading challenge?
Of course! I love setting myself a challenge!
Do you have a wishlist?
Well, kind of. My “to-read” list on Goodreads kind of just counts as my wishlist.
Who are your favourite authors?
I haven’t actually read many of the same authors again and again. I like Stephen King and M R Carey. I also enjoy Robert Bryndza’s work. But, like I said, I haven’t actually read that many of their books.
Have you joined any groups?
I did join a few groups on Goodreads, but I don’t really get involved with them. I know I probably should, but I don’t like being told what to read and when, I like reading at my own pace.
How many Goodreads shelves do you have?
I have 19 shelves! Whoa! I didn’t realise I had that many. I think my shelves are pretty under control though. I see some people with over 100 shelves! How can they keep up with that?
