School Subjects Book Tag

Thank you so much to Book Princess Reviews for tagging me to do this post. Girl knows I love tag posts! Ugh, I totally forgot I used to have to learn so much at school! Maths, physics, chemistry?! Noooooo…

Maths- A book that left your head spinning in circles

Dark Matter, but in a good way! I loved this sci-fi, mind-bending read!

English- A book you think has beautiful written expression

I’m aiming to talk abut some books I don’t tend to use in these kinds of tag posts, so instead of picking my standard “To Kill a Mockingbird”, I’m going for The Wonder which was so beautiful!

Physics- Your favorite scientifically minded character from a book or film

Oh God, I have no idea! I don’t read or watch sceince-y things. Does Dexter count? He worked in a kind of science, right?

Chemistry- Your favorite literary couple?

I don’t know for this one either! I don’t read many books with couples that I feel “AWWWW” about.

That being said, the first that popped to mind, other than Jason & Daniela in Dark Matter, was Mercy & Nate from Mercy Snow.

Biology- Your favorite book/series/film character

How does this question relate to biology? But anyway, I’ll do one for each.

Book –

To Kill a Mockingbird, everyone knows this by now…

Series – Does this mean book or TV series? … I’ll do both lol

Book series –

I don’t read many series but I really like the Erika Foster series!

TV series –

Black Books! Goddamn I love this series, it’s so funny. I’ve watched it about a million times.

Film –

Ratatouille! I know the entire script to this film. This is the movie I watch to feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I love, love, love it!

{UPDATE: I realise I missed the part in the question when it asked for your favourite CHARACTER, but hey ho!}

French- Your favorite foreign book/film/program

Again, I’m going to do one answer for all of them!

Book –

Lolita! It’s a beautifully disgusting novel.

Film –

I struggled to think of something for this, mainly because my brain went dead, as I’ve watched a load of foreign films so I have thousands that I love, but what came to mind was Delicatessen which I watched ages ago but it’s so weird and dark. I love it!

TV Program –

It’s a no-brainer! Swedish murder mystery thriller series The Bridge is by far one of the best TV shows I’ve ever watched! If you haven’t seen it, please go check it out!!! (it’s not very PG 13)

Art- Have you ever judged a book by its cover, even if you weren’t meant to?!

Of course! Who doesn’t do this?!

History- The last historical book you read

Not historical in the sense that it’s like 18th Century or anything, but the The Demon is based in the 70/80’s and that’s still history!

Geography- A literary destination you would really like to visit (real or fictional)

I spoke about this in a recent tag post, but I’d love to visit / live in Middle Earth!

Drama- a book you think has a lot of overdramatic hype

The Breakdown by B. A. Paris was a huuuge let down! Each to their own and all that, but I just don’t get the hype at all!

My tags:

Ava @ Read, Rhythms & Ruminations – Callum McLaughlin – A Book. A Thought. –       Kook Bookery – Nadwa @ painfullyfictional

No pressure to do this tag, but if you do, please tag me / link me so I can see your answers!

  1. Awesome post! I’d love to live in Middle Earth as well. It’s so magnificent!❤
And I so LOVE Ratatouille! It’s one of my favourites as well.
I did this post just a few days ago, so I don’t think I’ll be able to do this again, but thank you for thinking of me!
    Loved reading your answers. 😊

  2. Fantastic post, Zuky! It was so much fun to read your answers. I’m so jealous of the cover of The Wonder you posted – I’m pretty sure the U.S. cover is of a spoon or something and it just makes me not want to pick it up every time I look at it. I’m definitely going to have to give it another try, though….well, isn’t that totally judging a book by its cover there, LOL? As always, you’ve given me a lot of books to look into – and I know what you mean about trying to spread out using the same books for the tags. D: Fantastic post! 😀
