Idaho by Emily Ruskovich – I’m very nearly done with this and I absolutely love it!
Books finished this week:
Desperation Road by Michael Farris Smith – this was a stunning novel that really grabs at your heart strings. Due to be released on the 23rd of Feb. You’ll be able to find my review from the 16th, so don’t forget to look out for it!
The Breakdown by B. A. Paris – after the huge success that was Behind Closed Doors, this novel had a lot to live up to. I didn’t like it, but I’m in the minority with my opinion.
Books I DNF this week:
The Doll Funeral by Kate Hamer – ugh what a disappointment. I could not get into this at all! I haven’t reviewed this on my blog, and I won’t, but you can find my thoughts on in on Goodreads.
Books I’m planning on reading next:
So last week I said I’d be reading Six Four and A Mother’s Reckoning as I thought they needed to be read by the 9th, but, it turns out they’re both re-releases and so I kind of feel like I can take my time with them a little bit more and focus on the books that are actually being released for the first time. So, that being said, these are the two novels I want to read next.
Lucidity by David Carnoy – This is my first ever blog tour read, woo! I can’t wait to start it. I haven’t read any of Carnoy’s work before but people say it’s amazing, so I’m really looking forward to giving this a read.
Ragdoll by Daniel Cole – This has got a serious amount of 5 star reviews on Goodreads so far, I hope it doesn’t let me down!
Books bought this week:
None! I’ve been good and saved my money (Sweden practically robbed me so I don’t really have money left to spend!)
