Well, the first month of 2017 is down, only eleven more to go! January has been a slow month for me this month, in book terms and in general terms.
There have been some excellent releases this month but I haven’t really had the time to read any of them! (and by that, I mean I’ve managed my time and book priorities so badly that everything is catching up with me!)
- Bird Box by Josh Malerman: 5 stars
- Spectrum by Aidan J Reid: 3 stars
- The Spider and the Fly by Claudia Rowe: 4 stars
- Rattle by Fiona Cummins: 3 stars
- Her Every Fear by Peter Swanson: 3 stars
- The Trees by Ali Shaw: 3 stars
- Cold Calling by Haydn Wilks: 3 stars
- Fickle by Peter Manus: 3 stars
- The Girl Before by J P Delaney: 3 stars
As you can see, it’s been a pretty average month for me! Although I am in the minority with a lot of my thoughts on this months reads.
I have read 10 books out of my goal of 90 books so far. I’m not sure if it should really be 9, though, as one of the books counted was only 32 pages lol.
This month hasn’t been anything special. I haven’t done anything because I’ve been saving for my long weekend in Sweden! My boyfriend and I fly out on the 2nd and come back on the 5th, I can’t wait to visit Stockholm and see all the sights!
I’ve been on a really strict diet for about 2 weeks now and I’ve lost 8lbs so far, which I’m really proud of! I just hope my trip away won’t ruin it, but I’ve just got to keep reminding myself to eat in moderation while I’m out there and that just because chocolate is there, doesn’t mean I have to eat it lol.
That’s all for this month, not much to report. Next month I’ll have loads of Stockholm photos to show you, yay! I hope everyone has had a nice January, and that your February’s are even better!
